Cyrus Gerald Gray, 84, died January 20, 2025, at home in Norfolk, Va. He was born March 19, 1940 in Rodanthe and was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard.

At Cy’s request, a private family funeral service with military honors will be held at Twiford Colony Chapel in Manteo. Memorial donations may be made to Fair Haven United Methodist, or the charity of one’s choice.
