The Manteo High School women’s wrestling team finished as Northeastern Conference Tournament co-champions.
The team had four conference champions, three runners-up and two third place finishers.
Coach Jimmy Metzinger was named the Conference Women’s Coach of the Year.
“Our female wrestling team was the 2024 NCC Dual Team Champions and now the 2025 NCC Tournament Champions!” noted the announcement of the achievements.
