Roanoke Island Garden Club to meet Thursday

The Roanoke Island Garden Club will meet February 6 at noon at Odom Hall, located at The Elizabethan Gardens.
The business meeting and refreshments will be followed by a floral-related workshop presented by club member Catherine Hamill. Members are advised to wear old clothes as they will be using acrylic paint, which is very difficult (if at all) to remove from clothes.
While, the club’s 2024 Fall Plant/Yard Sale had to be canceled, plans are underway to hold the 2025 Spring Plant/Yard Sale on April 12 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Maritime Boat Museum in Manteo. “Looking forward to having lots of plants and yard sale items available,” noted organizers.
