Jennifer Pearce, specialist pharmacy technician I, was named Outer Banks Health Team Member of the Month for January 2025.

Pearce joined Outer Banks Health in March 2022 and quickly became an integral part of the team. “Her compassion is evident to everyone she encounters, and she always offers to assist with any task. Her willingness to go above and beyond sets a shining example for her team,” noted the announcement of her award.

Pearce “takes initiative to pilot new processes and workflows within the pharmacy. She seeks out new ways to make their jobs more efficient and is sure to seek feedback from her peers when working together on something new,” the announcement continued.

Her dedication, hard work and exceptional skills have not only made a significant impact on the pharmacy department, but have also inspired others and improved patient safety.

“Her steadfast commitment to ensuring that medications are accurately dispensed and safely delivered, even in times of workload challenges, is noticed and admired by her peers and leaders,” stated the announcement.

“Her contributions make a difference every day,” shared a team member. “We are incredibly grateful to have her with us.” Another stated, “She makes my job and day better just by being here.”
