A special meeting of the Dare County Board of Commissioners has been called for Thursday, Feb. 20, 2025.  The meeting will start at 9 a.m. in Room 168 of the Dare County Administration Building, located at 954 Marshall C. Collins Drive in Manteo.

The purpose of the meeting is for the board to meet in closed session to review the qualifications, competence, performance, character, fitness, conditions of appointment, or conditions of initial employment of an individual public officer or employee or prospective public officer or employee.
