Barco man facing multiple drug charges

The Currituck County Sheriff’s Office has reported the arrest of a Barco man on a number of charges.
According to a CCSO news release, on the afternoon of Tuesday, February 26, members of the Currituck County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics and Criminal Investigation Units conducted a narcotics search warrant in the 100 block of Bens Bonanza in Barco. The search warrant was based on an investigation into the distribution of illegal narcotics.
“During the execution of the search warrant, trafficking amounts of narcotics were located along with several items commonly used for the distribution of these narcotics,” stated the release.
Based on the investigation and findings during the execution of the search warrant, stated CCSO, Lamoris Andrew White, 45, of Barco, was arrested and charged with trafficking cocaine, sell and deliver cocaine, possession with intent to sell and deliver a schedule III controlled substance, possession with intent to sell and deliver a schedule VI controlled substance and maintaining a dwelling C/S.
White is being held at the Currituck County Detention Center.
