The Youth Center on Roanoke Island has announced that it will be hosting a 3-on-3 basketball tournament on Saturday, March 8, 2025 from noon to 5 p.m. at Manteo High School. All proceeds from the event will be used to purchase supplies for the Youth Center.

The tournament will include three brackets: high school, middle school and elementary school (4th and 5th grades only). Teams can be all male, all female or co-ed. The cost of entering is $30 per team and $5 for admission to the event.

The event will also feature a half-court contest ($1 entry fee) and a 3-point contest ($2 entry fee).

The new Youth Center, a 4,000-square-foot facility located at 101 North Highway 64/264, includes a multi-purpose room, office space, classroom space, game room, a fully-equipped kitchen, restrooms and an on-site playground.

Concessions will be available and a DJ will provide music and announcements during the event.
