First Flight High School junior Skyla Simpson earned the title of NCHSAA 3A Wrestling Champion in the women’s 120-pound division.
Simpson prevailed with a 15-8 decision over Addison Vindigni of Cleveland in the finals Monday night, February 24 at First Horizon Coliseum in Greensboro to earn the title.
Simpson finished the year with a 27-2 record.
She is shown displaying her winning bracket alongside coaches Russell Kepler and Devin Biscaha.
