Pamlico Sound ferry routes adding to spring schedules

Routes between Ocracoke, Cedar Island and Swan Quarter to make additional runs
The North Carolina Ferry Division’s Pamlico Sound routes between Ocracoke, Cedar Island and Swan Quarter added departures to their schedules on March 25, with each route going from four to six daily departures.
The Pamlico Sound schedule, from March 25 through May 19, will be:
Ocracoke to Cedar Island: 7:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Cedar Island to Ocracoke: 7:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Ocracoke to Swan Quarter: 7 a.m., 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Swan Quarter to Ocracoke: 10 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 4:30 p.m.
Reservations for Pamlico Sound ferry routes can be made up to 90 days in advance at ncferry.org or by calling 1-800-BY-FERRY.
