New Outer Banks Forever director announced

After an executive search, Outer Banks Forever announced that Bryan Burhans has been selected as the next director of the organization.
Burhans’ career as an executive spans more than 30 years. His nonprofit experience includes serving as president and chief executive officer of the American Chestnut Foundation and serving on the executive staff for the National Wild Turkey Federation. Burhans also has diverse experience working for state fish and wildlife agencies in Virginia, Florida and Pennsylvania, and as a wildlife instructor and research assistant for The Pennsylvania State University.
“We are excited to welcome Bryan to our team and our Outer Banks Forever community, and we look forward to his leadership and vision as we continue to work together with you to protect and enhance our Outer Banks national parks, now and forever,” said Nicole Erickson, development manager at Outer Banks Forever.
