Nags Head Police arrest man in investigation involving alleged sexual abuse of a minor

Nags Head police have arrested a man in an investigation involving alleged sexual abuse of a minor that took place from 2021 to 2024.

According to a Town of Nags Head news release, on Monday, April 7, 2025, Charles Everett Holland II, 59, of Nags Head, was arrested and charged with one count of taking indecent liberties with children and one count of a crime against nature.

On Thursday, April 10, 2025, Holland was charged with one count of attempted statutory sexual offense, one count of dissemination of obscene material to minors under the age of 13, and four counts of taking indecent liberties with children, stated the release.

Holland is being held at the Dare County Detention Center, where he is currently in custody under a $750,000 bond.
