A special event has been planned by Manteo merchants to celebrate Mother’s Day.

“Looking for a fresh way to celebrate Mother’s Day? Meet Mom (or any special woman in your life) in Manteo for a blooming good time at the Manteo Merchants Mother’s Day Flower Crawl,” stated the announcement for the event, which is set for Saturday, May 10 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. throughout historic Manteo.

“The Flower Crawl is an opportunity to spend a day exploring the charm of Manteo while strolling, shopping, sipping and dining your way through 20 participating merchants,” noted the announcement. “At each flower stop, attendees will get a fresh flower to add to what will be a custom flower bouquet; at other stops they’ll find drink and dining specials to complete the day. Whether browsing unique boutiques, sampling local treats, or enjoying a leisurely lunch, the Flower Crawl is the perfect way to spend a Saturday celebrating spring, small business, and moms.”
