Cleron Overton Carawan, 91, of Wanchese, died April 29, 2025. He was born December 10, 1933 in Swan Quarter. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on May 3, 2025 at Roanoke Island Christian Fellowship in Manteo. Following the service, all are invited to join the family for refreshments. Graveside committal service will be held at Soule Cemetery in Swan Quarter at 3 p.m.
