Stephanie Sawyer named Outer Banks Health Team Member of the Month

Stephanie Sawyer, certified medical assistant at Outer Banks Health Ear, Nose, and Throat, has been named the Outer Banks Health Team Member of the Month for April 2025.
Sawyer joined Outer Banks Health in September 2018. Since joining the ENT team, she has proven to be an invaluable member. “She is incredibly hardworking and consistently goes the extra mile to support her patients,” stated the announcement of her award. “Her compassionate care never goes unnoticed and is deeply appreciated by everyone around her. She’s also a reliable communicator, ensuring that all treatment schedules and consults are handled efficiently and accurately.”
Sawyer is known for her openness, kindness and strong sense of initiative. She’s the “go-to” person on her team – always ready to step in and offer support whenever it’s needed, noted the announcement. Her problem-solving mindset ensures she finds solutions and provides guidance, and she truly embodies the spirit of teamwork, always prioritizing the success of those around her, the announcement continued.
Driven by a strong desire to learn and grow, Sawyer is actively pursuing her education to become an RN and has expressed a genuine interest in building a long-term future with the organization.
“Her dedication, work ethic, and passion for helping others is truly inspiring and makes her an asset to our team,” stated the announcement.
“Her positive attitude and exceptional contributions have had a significant impact on the success of the team,” a team member shared.
