Annetta (Brusca) Derasmo, 101, of Manteo, N.C., entered eternal rest on Thursday, May 1, 2025.

Relatives and friends were invited to attend the visitation at Werson Funeral Home, 635 North Wood Avenue, Linden, on Thursday, May 8^th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. There was a funeral service for Ann in the funeral home on Friday, May 9^th at 10 a.m. Interment followed in Rosedale Cemetery, Linden, NJ. Ann was born to Frank and Gaetana (Grasso) Brusca in North Plainfield, NJ, lived in Linden, NJ for 60 years and Burnet, TX for 5 years, before moving to Manteo, NC in 2017.

She was a member of Roanoke Island Baptist Church in Manteo, NC, and was a past member of Raritan Road Baptist Church in Cranford, NJ.  Ann loved cooking and knitting.

Ann was predeceased by her beloved husband of 72 years, Antonio “Tony” Derasmo, her 8 siblings, Teresa Ruggerio, Madeline Yarusi, Geraldine Colbath, Guy A. Brusca, Martha Butterworth, Lenore Brusca, Anthony Brusca, and Victor Brusca, and her dear niece, Patricia Zakrzeski. Surviving is her loving son, Dominic Derasmo and his wife Linda, sister-in-law, Mary Pulaski, and many nieces and nephews.
