Manns Harbor, NC – Wade Ervin White was born on May 12, 1950, and passed away surrounded by family on May 1, 2025. He was the youngest son of W. Stanford White and Grace Mann White. Wade was preceded in death by his eldest brother, W. Ray White (Linda). He is survived by his brother, Stan M. White (Susie). The bond shared with his brothers was genuine and is everlasting.

Wade’s daughter, Wanda, brought into his life two of his greatest joys, his granddaughters, Adison and Emily, and one of his closest friends, Troy Outland. Wade’s son, Hunter, and his daughter-in-law Stacey, blessed him with two grandsons, Will and Cole, his true pride and joy.

Wade had the privilege of being a father to Paul Hinson, a grandfather to JT, Josh, Noah, and Ellie, an uncle to McKenzie (Nathan) and John (Kristina), and a great-uncle to Carter and Adaire.

As we remember Wade, let us carry forward his legacy of kindness, hope and positivity in our life’s adventures.

In lieu of flowers and to honor Wade’s deep love for his dogs, Rosco and Whiskey, donations may be made to the Outer Banks SPCA (obxspca.org).

A funeral service to celebrate Wade’s life will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 12, 2025, at Mt. Carmel Global Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
