The North Carolina Education Lottery has announced a six-figure win on a scratch-off ticket.
Jian Zheng, of Edenton, took a chance on a $30 scratch-off and won a $100,000 prize.
Zheng purchased his lucky Millionaire Bucks ticket from Broad Street Mart on North Broad Street in Edenton.
The Chowan County man collected his prize at lottery headquarters and, after required state and federal tax withholdings, took home $71,758.
The Millionaire Bucks game debuted in October with four $5 million top prizes and 10 $100,000 prizes. Three $5 million prizes and seven $100,000 prizes remain to be claimed.
