The traditional summertime Hatteras Villages Community Fish Fry began last Saturday, May 24, 2025 at the Hatteras Volunteer Fire Station.
The fish fry runs through Aug. 30 except for June 7, which is the evening for commencement at Cape Hatteras Secondary School of Coastal Studies.
Volunteers start serving at 5 p.m. and will continue until sold out.
The menu includes two pieces of fresh fried fish, potato salad, cole slaw, hush puppies and sweet or unsweet iced tea with free refills, all for $15 in cash.
Homemade desserts are available for a donation, and t-shirts will be available for purchase.
Picnic tables are behind the fire station for enjoying the Saturday evening fish fry.
