John Thomas Lancaster, 84, of Kitty Hawk, died June 3, 2025. He was born August 9, 1940 in Roanoke, Va. and was an Army veteran.

Viewing will be held at Twiford Outer Banks Chapel in Manteo at 11 a.m. on June 9. At noon, the procession will leave Twiford’s and ride down beach road to take him to his final resting place in Southern Shores Cemetery, where a graveside service will be held at 1 p.m.
