Henrietta Elizabeth MacIntyre

Henrietta Elizabeth MacIntyre, 95, died October 2.  She was born January 26, 1923 in Pittsburgh, Pa., the daughter of Joseph and Sophia Lukas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 62 years, Donald B. MacIntyre; and her brothers and sisters.

Survivors include three sons: Doug MacIntyre and wife Judy of Green Valley, Ariz., Bruce MacIntyre and wife Donna of Clearwater, Fla. and Russell MacIntyre and wife Janie of Rocky Mount; six grandchildren: Leslie Shannon and husband Jeff, Lori MacIntyre and Robert Sweeney, JR MacIntyre, Kasey Meyer and husband Bill, Amanda MacIntyre and Brad Bowers, and Scott MacIntyre and wife Samantha and seven great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life service was held Friday, October 5. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kitty Hawk United Methodist Church, 803 W. Kitty Hawk Rd, Kitty Hawk, NC 27949.
