Deck fire contained

The Kill Devil Hills Fire Department responded to a report of a deck fire on Greenville Street on June 15 at 1:46 p.m.

Fire crews from Colington and Kitty Hawk assisted and Dare EMS was on standby. The fire was extinguished and contained to the deck. No one was injured.

The Kill Devil Hills Fire Marshal is investigating to determine the cause.
