Richard Joseph Snyder Jr.

Richard Joseph Snyder Jr., 58, of Manteo, died Tuesday, October 2 in Nags Head.

Born in Baltimore, Md. on December 6, 1959, he was the son of Kathleen Westendorf Snyder of Manteo and the late Richard Joseph Snyder.

An avid Baltimore Ravens fan, Richard was loved by all who knew him. He particularly loved hunting and fishing with his son, Danny.

Along with his mother, Richard is survived by daughter, Lyssa Snyder, son Danny Snyder, grandson Forrest, brother Alan Snyder and sister Dawn McHale.

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, October 13 at Twiford Colony Chapel, Manteo with Pastor Frank Lassen officiating.
