Look familiar? USLSS photos, identification sought

Lou Ellen Quinn and Robin Daniels Holt are searching for photos of local men who served in the USLSS before it became the US Coast Guard on January 1, 1915. They are specifically looking for men who served from Wash Woods in upper Currituck to, and including, Portsmouth Island.

Quinn and Holt currently have this photo of an unidentified surfman from the collection of Mary Midgett Hooper of Waves. They are seeking assistance in identifying him.

Contact Quinn at quinngirls4@aol.com or 252-473-6601 or Holt at robin48jovers@yahoo.com 252-473-6010 with any information you may have.
