Plan your wedding at the Outer Banks Wedding Weekend and Expo

The Outer Banks Wedding Weekend and Expo is returning for its 21st year on January 19 and 20.

This two-day wedding show is considered by many to be a must for any couple planning a wedding on the Outer Banks. Presented by the Outer Banks Wedding Association, this event features the area’s best and most reliable wedding vendors and can help you save time and money planning your dream wedding.

“They put on the best expo every year! We booked half our vendors at the expo and had an amazing wedding at Roanoke Island Festival Park,” said Rachel Claus, a recent Outer Banks bride.

During the two-day event, attendees gain access to meet with vendors face to face. Find who meets your personal style and talk budgets in person. Sample food from caterers, check out gorgeous floral arrangements, discover your dream venue, meet a photographer whose work you love, book your DJ and figure out the other details for your wedding at a one stop shop. Many vendors offer discounts (referred to as “expo perks”) if you book them at the expo!

On Saturday afternoon, attendees will have the opportunity to visit venues in an open-house style “wedding tour” at some of North Carolina’s most sought-after venues to continue the meet-and-greets.

There are three types of tickets: VIP bride, VIP groom and general admission. VIP tickets are $40 and general admission tickets are $20.

Every VIP bride and groom ticket holder will be automatically entered to win a $1,000 voucher to use toward their wedding with any expo vendor. They are also able to enter door prize giveaways that feature various packages donated by vendors. VIP tickets come with a canvas tote filled with an OBX Bride tank top or OBX Groom tee shirt, promotions/goodies from expo sponsors and a VIP lanyard to wear and collect tickets along the wedding tour to use for extra entries into the giveaways. General admission tickets grant access to the two-day expo and the wedding tour, though these ticket holders cannot gather tickets to enter the giveaways.
