KILL DEVIL HILLS, NC ­- Mike Stamatis Theodorakis, 88, of Kill Devil Hills, died Wednesday, February 21. Born in Franklin, VA on August 1, 1929, he was the son of the late Maria Jones Theodorakis and Stamatis Theodorakis.

A Korean War veteran, Mike served his country honorably with the United States Air Force.

Mike is survived by wife, Karen Yovich Theodorakis; daughters, Patrice Theo-dorakis and Alison Hardy; son, Steve Theodorakis; sisters, Irene Zervos and Fontini Wagar; and brothers, Billy, Johnny, Jerry, and Jimmy Theodorakis.
