Willis Arlen Creef

EAST LAKE, NC – Willis Arlen Creef, 85, of East Lake died Friday, February 23. A native of Dare County, he was born September 5, 1932, to the late Nevada Twiford Creef and Elmer Bruce Creef.

  Willis served his country in the United States Army and United States Air Force. He worked with the NCDOT – Ferry Division and Dare County Sanitation Department.

  Willis is survived by wife, Deborah Creef; sons, Willis Creef, Jr. and Ronnie Creef; stepsons, Joseph Forbes and Christopher Simpson; several grand-children; step-grand children, Rickie Forbes and Christian Simpson; brother, Warren Creef; sisters, Alice Tillett and Theresa Temple; and several nieces and nephews.

  A memorial service with military honors will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 6, at Twiford Colony Chapel, Manteo. A reception at the East Lake Community Building is planned follow-ing the service.

  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to Twiford Funeral Home, PO Box 595, Manteo, NC 27954, to assist the family with funeral expenses.
