WCA celebrates second quarter achievements

Wanchese Christian Academy recently wrapped up the first semester of the school year. Due to delays related to unexpected bad weather and ice, it took an added week to complete the work and mid-term exams.

Students were rewarded for the second quarter achievements, encouraged to participate in the 100th day celebration and read at WCA’s ceremony to honor student achievements.

BECKY ETHERIDGE’S preschool and kindergarten students were excited to have recess after the recent awards ceremony at Wanchese Christian Academy. Never knowing what the weather will be like, students were happy to put away their certificates and enjoy the playground. All academic strides were recognized along with perfect attendance, athletic wins, character acknowledgements and fundraiser updates.

The JV Lady Warriors were recognized for this year’s team efforts and their latest wins.
