Chimer Choir to ring in Holy Week on March 25

The Chimer Choir at Sound Side Missionary Baptist Church invites everyone to come help them celebrate the “reason for the season” on March 25.

Many people associate this phrase with Christmas, but it is just as true for Easter.

Sound Side Missionary Baptist Church will present a musical program at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 25 to celebrate the beginning of Holy Week.

The Chimer Choir will present a musical production including Easter selections emphasizing the meaning of Easter.

Scriptural passages and comments will also be a part of the service, given by the Reverend Stephen Duncan.

“We invite you to join us,” says Bernadine Crouch, Chimer Choir director. “It will be a special way to get our hearts and minds ‘in tune’ with the reason for this special season. We look forward to seeing you March 25, hoping it will be a blessing to all who attend!”
