Dare County Public Works announces the Good Friday/Easter Holiday schedule.

On Friday, March 30, 2018, the Manteo and Buxton Transfer Stations, and the C&D Landfill will be closed,

Also closed March 30 are the Dare County Recycling Center located in Manteo and the Dare County Sanitation Department.

The trash collection for the week of March 26 through March 29 will be as follows:

Commercial pickup will be Monday, March 26, and Thursday, March 29.

Monday, March 26: Kitty Hawk, Colington, Buxton, Frisco, and Hatteras

Tuesday, March 27: Manteo, Wanchese, East Lake, Stumpy Point, Manns Harbor, Rodanthe, Waves, Salvo, and Avon

Wednesday March 28: Kitty Hawk, Colington, Buxton, Frisco, and Hatteras

Thursday, Mar 29: Manteo, Wanchese, East Lake, Stumpy Point, Manns Harbor, Rodanthe, Waves, Salvo, and Avon

No trash collection will take place Friday, March 30.
