Register now for Pre-K and Kindergarten in Dare County Schools

Registration for Kindergarten is a two-part process.

First, parents are asked to go to the Dare County Schools’ website daretolearn.org to the online registration form.

Once the online process is completed, parents or guardians will need to bring the required documents to the school their child is zoned to attend in order to finalize the registration process.

Kindergarten registration is for children who are five years old by Aug. 31, 2018.

The district is holding Kindergarten Kick-Off events, which is a good time to bring required documents.

If parents have questions, contact the school or central office.

Kindergarten Registration Kick-Off events are scheduled from 4 to 6 p.m. for

Manteo Elementary, April 17

Nags Head Elementary, April 18

Kitty Hawk Elementary, April 19

First Flight Elementary, April 26

Cape Hatteras Elementary will hold its event from 5:30 to 7 p.m., April 24.
