NAGS HEAD, NC – Betty Rae Rogers, 83, of Nags Head, died Wednesday, March 28. Born in Wanchese, NC on August 8, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Doris Gaskill Rogers and Desmond Alexander Rogers.

  Betty is survived by her son, Clarence Lee Gibbs, Jr.; and two granddaughters, Brittney Lee Gibbs and Rebecca Elise Gibbs.

  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, D.A. Rogers.

  A private family memorial service will be held.
