Ralph Lloyd “Butch” Berry, Jr.

COINJOCK, NC – Ralph Lloyd “Butch” Berry, Jr., 75,  Coinjock, NC died  on Tuesday, March 27.  Born in Norfolk, VA on April 12, 1942, he was the son of the late Ralph Lloyd Berry and Ethel Mae Hatfield Berry and the husband of Judy Huss Berry of the residence.  He worked with Colonial Chev-rolet for thirty-two years retiring as parts manager.  After retiring, he worked for R. K. Chevrolet and Courtesy Ford and was the former owner of Grandy Express/ Dairy Queen.  He was a former member of the Kempsville Lions Club and the Avery Mills Hunt Club.  He treasured his family and was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

In addition to Judy, his wife of fifty-six years, he is sur-vived by two daughters, Kelly Berry Ingram and husband, George of Grandy, and Sandi Berry Clark Blake and husband, Tim of Chesapeake, VA; six grand-children, Hayley, Tyler, Maiya, Tyler, Danielle and Derek; four great grand-children, Melanie, Lily, Conner, Colton and one on the way; a sister, Mary Ella Perucci; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Woodard and a brother, Linwood Berry.
