Cabell Howard Cliborne

NAGS HEAD, NC – Cabell Howard Cliborne of Moseley, VA and resident of Nags Head died on March 31. Mr. Cliborne was born May 6, 1936 in Blackstone, VA to the late Edith Daniel and Cabell Howard Cliborne, Sr.
Mr. Cliborne is survived by his wife Helen Britt Cliborne, a son Kevin Worth Cliborne and wife Travers Bernert Cliborne; a daughter Catherine Cliborne Gardner and husband George Patrick Gardner; and grandchildren Elliott Worth Cliborne, Sara Travers Cliborne, George Patrick Gardner Jr, and Davis Britt Gardner, all of Richmond, VA.
Mr. Cliborne was active member in his community, a member of Redeemer Episcopal Church of Midlothian and former member of St. Andrews By-the-Sea of Nags Head where he was a vestry person and co-chair of the building committee. He attended Randolph Macon College and graduated from the University of Richmond in 1960.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 9th at The Episcopal Church of the Redeemer by the Rev. Robert Marshall.
