The 2016 Healthy Carolinians of the Outer Banks Community Health Assessment revealed Mental Health and Substance Abuse as two of the top three health concerns in Dare County.
The Breaking Through Task Force was formed to address these behavioral health issues across the lifespan.
Breaking Through is gathering information to help identify needs in the community. Results will be used to plan events, programs, and services for Dare County.
The anonymous survey for parents and guardians is available at darenc.com under Department of Health and Human Services, Healthy Carolinians.
