Cape Hatteras sports schedule through Saturday

Weather is wrecking carefully constructed spring sports schedules.

At Cape Hatteras Secondary, Tuesday’s away game with Creswell is now scheduled for Wednesday, April 11.

On Thursday, Cape Hatteras middle grades baseball and softball teams take the field at Camden Middle School. The girls varsity soccer team will play Manteo in Manteo. These games start at 5 p.m.

On Friday, April 13, Cape Hatteras junior varsity and varsity baseball teams and the varsity girls softball team take on Bear Grass at the field in Buxton. The junior varsity game starts at 4 p.m., the varsity games are scheduled for 6 p.m.

On Saturday, the Cape Hatteras girls softball team will play Columbia High School at the Buxton field at noon.

Playing varsity softball for Cape Hatteras this season are Amber Harrell, Hannah Curcio, Jazmine Outland, Catherine Willis, Kaitlyn Stephens, Lillian Wilber, McKayla Gordon, Anna Wilkinson, Evan Augustson, Maddison Midgett, Allie Quidley, Lauren Wage and Sophie Waterfield.
