Currituck-Dare Community Foundation announces new board members
The board of advisors of the Currituck-Dare Community Foundation recently announced new advisory board members, according to Sheila Davies, board president.
Joining the board are:
• Ginger Webster of Kitty Hawk. She previously served on the board from 2005 – 2011, is a past board member and secretary of the NC Coastal Federation, past president of the Duck Woods Country Club Women’s Association and Ladies Tennis Association and the project director of the Philanthropic Education Organization. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in business administration.
• Cynthia Jarvis of Moyock. She is a retired Currituck County social services staff member and the owner of Jarvis Farms, Inc. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Mary Washington in psychology.
“We are very excited to have these leaders join our board,” Davies said in a news release. “We look forward to working with them to benefit our local community.”
