Trash Attack! Community Clean-Up Event Set for April 21
The Town of Kill Devil Hills’ annual Trash Attack! community clean-up will be held Saturday, April 21, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Rain date: Sunday, April 22, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.).
Volunteers will meet and register at the lot beside the KDH Fire Station, located at 1634 N. Croatan Highway, beside the Dare Centre. Once registered, volunteers select what area of Kill Devil Hills they want to help clean up. The town provides disposable gloves and garbage bags for the volunteers.
In 2017, more than 100 Trash Attack! volunteers collected more than 21 cubic yards of litter and garbage.
For more information or to pre-register the event, please visit the Kill Devil Hills website at www.kdhnc.com/610/Special-Events or contact Town Hall at 252-449-5300.
