The Ocracoke Island Decoy Carvers Guild will sponsor its first Ocracoke Island Waterfowl Festival Saturday in the Ocracoke School gymnasium.  

Dave O’Neal, owner of the Down Point Decoy Gallery, will be this year’s featured carver. The festival will have on display decoys, have raffles and presentations on the art of carving and food. The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
