Mustang Outreach kid artists to perform in Duck
Published 11:16 am Wednesday, April 25, 2018
The Mustang Outreach Program students (26 kids in all) will take the stage Sunday, April 29 from 3-6 p.m. at the Roadside Bar and Grill in Duck.
Local kids from aged 8 to 17 will perform a variety of music from covers of classic rock and alternative sounds, to acoustic ballads and self-composed works. There will be a 50/50 raffle; a raffle for kid-friendly items and freshly made NC barbeque sandwiches for sale. All proceeds will go to support the non-profit music program. Suggested admission is $5 for anyone 12 and older.
Straight financial donations are welcome and are 100-percent tax deductible.
The goal of the Mustang Outreach Program is to provide a stage for local children who are musically gifted (or those who just have an incredible passion for music) to learn, practice and perform self-composed works as well as covers from decades of great artists
