She was the loving mother of two daughters, Marianne Harney of Kill Devil Hills, NC and Janet Woolery (Benjamin) of Bowie, MD as well as a son who died at birth.  Devoted sister of the late Elizabeth Berry and Thomas, Francis and Lawrence Daley, she leaves behind six grandchildren, Michelle Smith, Elaina Serrant, Caitlin Hart all of North Carolina and Shannon Englehart, Eric and Bridget Woolery all of Maryland.  She was blessed with six great-grandchildren, Makayla, Kaiyah, Lanie, Leland, Landen and Elijah as well as her dear nieces and nephews.

She and her husband’s love of the Outer Banks of North Carolina, which began on their honeymoon in 1959, prompted a move to Kitty Hawk in 1998.
