Denise Cuozzo Jones, 46, of Hickory Trail, Southern Shores, died Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.  She was born in Brooklyn, New York on April 7, 1972 to Francis C. Cuozzo and Jean Guzzo Cuozzo of South Mills and was the loving wife of Kelly Jones of the residence.  She was a skilled hair stylist, but her passion was her love of family.  She was a loving and supportive wife and a mother who was dedicated to her sons. She was active in the Parent and Teachers Association of their school.  

In addition to Kelly, her husband of fifteen years and her parents, she is survived by two sons, Dylan and Garrett; two sisters Lisa Anne Walsh and husband Kenny of Gates, and Jeanmarie Zambelli and husband Dean of Kings Park, New York; mother-in-law, Mary Lou Jones of Kill Devil Hills; two brothers and sisters in law, Kevin and Dawn Jones of Camden and Keith and Beverly Jones of Kill Devil Hills; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her father in law, Joe Jones. 

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Nags Head Church, 105 West Soundside Road, Nags Head with the Rev. Grant Carter officiating. Memorial donations may be made either to Interfaith Community Outreach, P O. Box 1663, Kill Devil Hills, NC, 27948 or to the Outer Banks Relief Foundation, Inc, P. O.
