As a part of the beach nourishment project in Kill Devil Hills, survey crews will be present on the beaches in the nourishment area this summer. 

Crews will be in pick-up trucks on the beach and on a survey vessel running lines on a shore perpendicular course, close to the beach. The crews are conducting post-nourishment profile measurements.
