An ongoing investigation into heroin trafficking in Dare County led to two arrests during a Tuesday traffic stop in Nags Head.
The Dare County Narcotics Task Force arrested Wesley Taylor Foster, 29, of the 200 block of Woodland Drive in Southern Shores and Tina Michelle Davis, 35, of Pirates Moore in Kill Devil Hills, following an ongoing investigation, according to a news release from the Dare County Sheriff’s Office.
A “large amount of heroin” was also seized during the stop. A Nags Head police K9 assisted.
Both Foster and Davis are charged with felony heroin trafficking, the release said. Foster is jailed on a $100,000 bond and Davis a $75,000 bond.
The Dare County Narcotics Task Force is made up of officers with the Dare County Sheriff’s Office, and the Nags Head and Kitty Hawk police departments.
