Scott Winfield Clarke

Scott Winfield Clarke, 68, of Nags Head, died Monday, Aug. 6, 2018. A native of Dare County, he was the son of the late Victoria and Herbert Walter Clarke.

Scott was a compassionate man who never held back his assistance when seeing someone in need. He enjoyed a good game of golf, his beloved Redskins football team, and his sailboat which he called “The Glass Dolphin.” Scott will be remembered for his big smile, marvelous and delicious passion for cooking and grilling, and the love he had for his family.

Scott is survived by a daughter, Kristen Oliva of Boyds, Maryland; three grandchildren, Victoria, Michael, and Zachary Oliva; and a sister, Carol Coates.

In keeping with Kristen’s wishes, there will be a private service at this time.
