Duck home damaged by fire

No one was injured when a home went up in flames in Duck on Wednesday morning.

The Duck Fire Department was called to 132 Dune Road at approximately 6:40 a.m. and arrived to find flames, smoke and heavy fire. Three occupants in the house escaped uninjured, the town said in a news release.

The fire was contained to the home and no other structures were involved. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
