Red Drum tourney Saturday
Jennette’s Pier invites everyone to participate in our annual Jim Mulford Memorial Red Drum Tournament this Saturday, Sept. 29 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. with lines in the water from 8 a.m. to noon.
Although the largest red drum wins first place, additional categories are also in play including longest puppy (slot) drum, black drum, trout, flounder, spot, pompano, Spanish mackerel, sea mullet, bluefish and more.
The morning of fishing costs $20 for adults and $10 for children age 12 and under.
“Come on out for a fun day of fishing,” tournament director Daryl Law said. “We always seem to catch a lot different species during these events.”
