Barbara Adams Nash

Barbara Adams Nash, 69, died from breast cancer on October 20 in Frisco.  Barbara is survived by husband Mark S. Nash, daughter Haley Adams Nash, granddaughter Mickyla A. Nash, all of Hatteras Island, brother Pete Adams of Florida, sister Carol Richardson of Ohio and other family members She was preceded in death by parents Betty and Wesley Adams, brother Larry Adams and stepmother Kay Adams.

Barbara was born on May 14, 1949, in Germany and graduated from Blair High School in Silver Spring, Md. She moved to Hatteras Island with her husband  in the 1980s. Barbara held a wide variety of jobs during her life.

A celebration of life service will be held Wednesday, October 24 at 11 a.m. at the Hatteras United Methodist Church in Hatteras Village with a covered dish reception to follow at the community center. Pastor Toni Wood will officiate.
