Karen M. Atwater Wells, 60 years old, died unexpectedly December 16, 2018.

Karen is survived by husband Walter “Wally” Wells of Kill Devil Hills and sons Nathan and Spencer Wells of Virginia Beach, Va. Karen worked at BB&T Bank for 21 years (Norfolk, Va., Kitty Hawk and Kill Devil Hills). Karen retired and worked part time at KDH Theaters in Kill Devil Hills.

A celebration of life will be scheduled for January 2019.
