The Ocracoke Civic and Business Association will hold a civic affairs meeting Wednesday, Jan. 9 at the Ocracoke Community Center. The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m.

The meeting serves as the annual contributor meeting to vote on the association’s board members.

The draft agenda includes updates about Hyde County from Kris Noble, technology from Donnie Schumate and National Park Service from Ranger Ed Fuller. Hyde County commissioner Tom Pahl will also speak. Voting on board member positions follows the updates.
