Trent Powell, a senior on the First Flight High School soccer team, recently signed his national letter of intent to play soccer for Methodist University.

Powell, his teammates and friends celebrated the signing and several former Storm and Nighthawk players on break from college came out to wish him well.

Parents Amy and George Powell, OBX Storm coach Jeff Scott and former coach Larry Barker and FFHS coaches Joel Mount and Juan Ramirez were also in attendance.
